One of the oldest families in the city, the Fishmouthers’ only living heir, is Peter. With generations of his ancestors slowly shedding their human features, Peter has almost completely lost the ability to speak. He wants nothing more than to eat at Mr. Crock’s tavern, but he was banned because he was caught stealing fish from the storage barrels. Ever since, he has been raiding Mr. Crock’s fishing boat and storage room to get back at him. Mr. Crock has other plans.
